eQ’s real estate funds reached the highest rating in GRESB assessment
In the 2025 assessment, both eQ Commercial Properties and eQ Community Properties achieved top results: each fund received 91 points out of 100 and, for the first time, reached the highest five-star rating
eQ’s real estate funds participated for the seventh consecutive year in the global GRESB sustainability assessment. The Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark is an international comparison that measures and evaluates sustainability performance in the real estate sector.
The annual assessment takes into account a broad range of sustainability aspects, such as environmental issues, consumption and emission data, sustainability management, and operational practices in property management. In 2025, over 2,300 real estate companies and funds took part in the evaluation.
Five stars fo both funds
Both eQ Commercial Properties and eQ Community Properties reached the top five-star rating for the first time. The scores of both funds increased from 87 to 91 points. In addition, the funds received the Green Star recognition for their responsible work.

Significant improvement in consumption monitoring
The greatest single improvement was seen in the coverage of consumption monitoring. Within eQ’s real estate funds, systematic development work has been carried out to enhance the tracking and reporting practices for energy and water consumption as well as waste management. This progress was clearly reflected in the assessment results.
Improved resource efficiency, meaning the more intelligent use of resources, also contributed to the higher scores. Thanks to more comprehensive monitoring, the use and management of properties can now be steered toward increasingly responsible and sustainable practices.
The results of both funds exceeded the averages of both the entire GRESB respondent group and eQ’s own peer group
Sustainability is continuous development
The GRESB results are actively utilized in the ongoing sustainability work of the funds. eQ continues to improve the energy efficiency of its properties and reduce environmental impacts.
