The Central Church Fund of Finland (CCF) and eQ Asset Management Ltd (eQ) have signed an agreement by which CCF outsources the administration and reporting of all existing private equity and real estate fund investments to eQ. This agreement is an extension to the agreement signed by the parties last year where CCF outsourced all new private equity investments to eQ.

’’The Central Church Fund is one of the largest institutional investors in Finland and we are very pleased to have been appointed as their partner in the administration and reporting of their private equity and real estate fund investments. These investments, especially private equity, offer a higher expected relative return when compared with other asset classes. Their administration and reporting is, however, resource intensive requiring specialized systems, specific operational knowledge and resources. The private equity administration team of eQ has a long experience in managing and administrating large scale investment programs’’, concludes Staffan Jåfs, Head of Private Equity at eQ Asset Management.

”Relative to their portfolio weights and when compared with other asset classes, the administration and reporting of private equity and real estate fund investments require a lot of resources. By outsourcing this part of our investment administration to eQ, we believe we can increase the quality of private equity and real estate fund reporting and analysis and direct resources more efficiently to our core activities’’, says Ira van der Pals, The Chief Investment Officer of The Central Church Fund of Finland.
